Currently professor of composition and composition theory at Xinghai Conservatory of Music, evaluation expert of Degree Center of the Ministry of Education of China, and honorary professor of Tianjin Conservatory of Music. He has published three monographs, eight translations, four music collections and dozens of papers. Dr. Igor Do Amaral, native of Macau, holds a Doctoral Degree of Musical Arts, Artist Diploma and double Masters Degree (in Performance and Pedagogy). He graduated with prestigious scholarships from Michigan State University and Mannes School of Music. His main teachers were Luong Kim Ying, Dr. Jackson Leung, Prof. And Artist in Resident Panayis Lyras (the winner of The Van Cliburn Competition), Dr. Derek Polischuk, Prof. Margarita Shevchenko (winner of the Chopin, Leeds and Cleveland International Competitions), and Dr. Amaral was also one of the very few selected students of the international acclaimed artist Simone Dinnerstein. During his studies, he was awarded numerous prizes and scholarships. He was also a recipient of the Macau Cultural Affairs Bureau Scholarship, Macau Foundation Scholarship, and the Michigan State University Faculty Grant. Moreover, Dr. Amaral has been invited to perform with orchestra and as a soloist in North America, Europe and Asia, including concert halls such as Carnegie Hall, Gilles-Lefebvre Concert Hall, Teatro Jovellanos, Guangzhou Xinghai Concert Hall, Ernst C. Stiefel Hall etc. His outstanding teaching and performing philosophy brought him to earn positions in international jury panels and also receiving excellent awards for his teaching success. He is often invited to give lectures and masterclasses around Asia and United States. Previously, Dr. Amaral held teaching positions at the Michigan State University, Interlochen Center for the Arts and the University of Saint Joseph. Dr. Amaral is currently a faculty at the Macao Polytechnic University and the Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College.

2020年獲新加坡國際鋼琴比賽音樂會演奏家組第一名，曾獲得“霍洛維茨國際鋼琴大賽”最高榮譽，是第三位載入比利時伊莉莎白皇后國際鋼琴比賽史冊的中國鋼琴家。2018年被中央音樂學院鋼琴系錄取為該院第一位鋼琴表演專業博士生。

She has been a piano teacher at several famous Russian music academies and has been a resident of Macau since 1993. At that year started to work as a piano teacher in the Academia de Musica S.Piox and in Conserva de Musica de Macau.During working in Russia and in Macau she used her own method of teaching based on traditions of Russian Piano School and since 1995 many of her students have won the first prize in competitions held in Macau.
