著名小提琴家，教育家，國家一級演奏員，中國音樂家協會小提琴學會顧問。

1989年創建中國首家少年室內樂團與太陽青少年樂團，足跡遍及國內各大城市與大洋彼岸。作為文化部藝術考級專家指導委員會委員、中國音協考級委員會小提琴專家組組長，先後擔任中國音協第一、二屆全國少兒小提琴優秀選手展演、比賽以及中國音樂“小金鐘”獎全國小提琴比賽評委會副主任。出版文字專著和小提琴、弦樂的創作、改編與彙編曲集50餘部，並主編出版中國音協全國小提琴考級教材。經其培育的小提琴學生有百十餘人獲獎和進入國內外專業院校。1993年由中國音協頒予小提琴優秀教師，1996年由波士頓第40屆國際友好城市大會授予傑出成就獎。        

其藝術業績被輯入國內外各種名人辭書，中央電視臺《東方之子》《中國報導》《交響世界》《音樂人生》以及中央人民廣播電臺《音樂家介紹》《時代人物專訪》等欄目先後專題播出。榮獲中央精神文明指導委員會與全國關心下一代工作委員會授予的全國關心下一代先進工作者稱號以及中國文聯頒發的六十周年榮譽證書。

Famous violinist & educators, National Level 1 Performer, Consultant of Violin Society of China. He founded the first juvenile chamber music group and orchestra in China in 1989, and he and his orchestra visited many cities in China and America. He was director of many national juvenile violin competitions in China, and published many books on violin playing and violin music collections. Many of his juvenile students entered colleges and universities in China and foreign countries. His outstanding achievement was reported by CCTV and Central People’s Broadcast Station.

     曾為天津音樂學院彈拔教研室主任，副教授，中國揚琴教育學會理事，新加加坡南洋藝術學院獅城華樂團藝術指導，國立大學華樂團指揮。現為天津音樂學院客席教授，天津師範大學客席教授，新加坡萊佛士音樂學院華樂指揮，揚琴教授，新加坡南洋藝術學院揚琴高級講師，國立大學華樂考級揚琴教程主編，新加坡華樂總會理事，新加坡揚琴學會主席。華中初級學院華樂團、公教中學華樂團等多個樂團的指揮。
